Bernise Behn-Mathers (6 October, 1938 in Koningstad) is a Brunanter billionaire businesswoman. Due family, marriage and her own work, Behn became the richest person in the country.
Biography[]
Behn was born as Bernise Mathers to Charlotte Phillips (1901-1972) and Matthias Mathers (1894-1943). Her father was killed by the Nazis in 1943 and young Bernise was left in control of Mathers Cosmetics (which her father founded in 1931) and a 14.5% stake in Mathers Finanial Group.
In 1961, she married Norwegian banker Sigurd Behn (born 1936) and had three children, Sigurd Jr. (1962), Bertha (1964) and Isabelle (1967). Behn expanded Mathers Cosmetics into the largest cosmetics firm in the country. She reformed Mathers cosmetics in the 1960s and most recently in 2005, with new youthful brands. Using her profits, she bought more shares of Mathers Financial from her cousins, extending her share to 28%. Currently Behn has a fortune of €2.8 billion, mostly from her shares of Mathers Finanial. She is also known for her philanthropic work; Behn holds a massive annual gala in Koningstad which raises about €2,000,000 for charitable causes.
Behn has topped the Economy 20 over 20 ranking since 2003 as the richest person in a wikination, and despite having lost money in 2013 has 600 million euros more than the second-ranked individual. Behn was owner of football club FC Kings from 1981, but sold it in 2015 to businessman Mitchell van der Laan.
