Bevo bottle

Bevo is a Brunanter mineral water bottler owned by Victoria Grand Dame, a subsidiary of Finist. Bevo has its source on the Martiges River, high in the Central Ranges.

History[]

Bevo water originates at a spring on Hoge Creek, which feeds into the Martiges. The spring was chanced upon by a herder in the 18th century, who, upon drinking from it, discovered its healing freshness.

After being taken over by the Van Buskirk family, "Martiges Water" became known as having the ability to help with ailments and soon, the wealthy and the ill would come to the Hoge Creek to drink.

The water from the Hoge was first bottled in 1851 and sold as Bergen Water. The farm where the spring was located was sold in 1928 and large-scale commercialization of the water began. From 1929 to 2002, the company was independently owned. From 1995, the water was re-branded B2O.

In 2002, the brand was sold to Victoria Grand Dame and renamed Bevo. Since 2010, Bevo have been shirt sponsors of the Straslander football club Racing Club Thisne and has been sponsoring the football club Arabian FC since the 2015-16 season.
