The Brunanter Rugby League is the top tier of professional rugby league in Brunant. Rugby league was introduced to Brunant by English settlers in the early 20th century whilst the league was founded in 1962. In recent years, attendances have increased considerably and the sport has become very popular throughout the country.
Teams play each other on two occasions per season, one game of which will be played at home and the other will be played away. The top four teams will enter a playoff competition, whereby the first placed team will play the fourth placed team, and the second placed team will play the third placed team. The winners of these games will face each other in the final, whilst the two other teams will play each other in the third place match.
All teams in the league will also compete in a cup competition whereby they are joined by other Brunanter rugby league teams. At the end of the season, a match is played between two regions of Brunant.
Since 2016, the Cettatian rugby team Cettatie Olympique plays in the league.
