Brunanters, or Brunanter people is the name given to the people in Brunant as well as those having acquired citizenship.

Historically the first Brunanters were of Iberian and Roman origin, but today are considered to be a mix between Arabic, Spanish, Venetian, Dutch and Anglo-Saxon peoples. Modern-day Brunanters are a very multicultural people and being Brunanter does not pertain to any single group.

Though most Brunanters fall under the broad categories of 'Dutch' and 'English', the majority of the population have a significant proportion of Spanish, and especially Catalan ethnicity and ancestry. The Barzuna, while lingustically different are both ethnically and culturally the same people as other native Brunanters.
