History[]
Carrington FC was founded in 1902 by a group of local amateur footballers. For much of its history, the club has had a very bad career, except for a short period in the late 1960s. Nowadays, it has had moderate success, but without any league titles since 1987.
In their latest friendly game against K.V. Oostende from Belgium on 22 December 2014, they won 3-1 with Anderson, Florente and Berrada scoring the goals.
Carrington FC played in the First League for a period in the 2000s before finishing 15th in the 2011-12 First League and being relegated to the Second League. Since then they have come close to winning promotion back to the First League but missed out each time, finishing third in the Second League in three consecutive seasons: 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.
