The see of the Diocese of Markstad is the St. Stephen's Cathedral
The Diocese of Markstad is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Brunant. Comprising of the Carrington, Central and Drenthe Parishes, the diocese was created in 1375. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Grijzestad. Its see is the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Carrington (formerly known as Markstad) and the current bishop is Joseph Clare. The Bishop of Markstad resides and works at the Episcopal Palace in Carrington.
