Orders and awards[]

Order of the Dragon[]

	Order of the Dragon	1602-present	It is awarded usually to royalty or foreign politicians who have done a great service to their country or the world, worthy of recognition. On rare occasions Brunanters can be given this award.
	Order of St. Andrew	1790-present	It is the equivalent for Brunanters of the Order of the Dragon. Largely dormant throughout the 20th century, it has been re-established under King Anthony I.
	Order of St. Peter and St. Paul	1580-1709	Was a religious and chivalrous order founded in 1580 by King Willem I. Members of the order were styled Cavalier. It was abolished in 1709 when Karl Van Draak died, without appointing any members to the order during his reign

Military honors[]

	Medaille d'Honneur	1916-present	It is awarded to people who have shown great courage and valor during war. It is the most prestigious military award and has only been awarded 162 times. Posthumous recipients of this medal included Karl Van Draak and Bernhard von Reiber, who served in the Brunanter Civil War.
	Order of Merit	1917-present	It is awarded for good conduct and service in the military. This medal is often awarded for those helping out in their community. Unlike the Medaille d'Honneur, this can be awarded multiple times, marked by adding small gold stars to the ribbon.
	War Cross	1790-present	It is awarded for "distinguished service" with the armed forces. To earn it one must have had at least 20 years of service or 10 years with deployment. The Silver War Cross is a higher distinction awarded to those with 40 years of service or 20 years with deployment.

	1784 War Medal	1786/1803	The 1784 War Medal is Brunant's oldest military award. It was orignally issued in 1786 by James Carrington to soldiers who served in his Invasion of Brunant in 1784.
	1814 War Medal	1815-1816	The 1814 War Medal is an award issued in 1815 and 1816 to soldiers who participated in the Napoleonic Wars (6th and 7th coalitions) in 1814 and 1815 and the Neapolitan War in 1815.
	Crimean War Medal	1856-1857	The Crimean War Medal is an award issued in 1856 and 1857 to soldiers who participated in the Crimean War (1853-1856).
	Great War Medal	1919	The Great War Medal is an award issued in 1919 to Brunanter soldiers and nurses who served in the Great War (1914-1918).
	Defense of Brunant Medal	1946	The Defense of Brunant Medal is an award issued in 1946 to Brunanter soldiers who "served in the defense of the country in face of heavy enemy action" in 1941.
	Resistance Cross	1946-1949	The Resistance Cross is a medal awarded to people (military or civilian) who served in the resistance against the Germans (the Underground Revolution) from 1941-1944.
	1945 War Medal	1946-1948	The 1945 War Medal is an award issued to soldiers who participated in the Liberation of Brunant in 1944 or saw action in the south of France in 1944 and 1945.
	Kuwait Medal	1991	The Kuwait Medal is a medal issued to Brunanter soldiers for their participation in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in 1990 and 1991.
	Afghanistan Medal	2005-2010	The Afghanistan Medal was created in 2004 and issued to soldiers and personnel involved in the Afghanistan War from 2003 to 2008. The name AFGHANISTAN and the year is inscribed on the reverse.
	Lovia Medal	2015	The Lovia Medal was created in 2014 and was issued to soldiers and personnel involved in the Burenian Invasion of Lovia. The medal is identical to the one for Afghanistan, though is inscribed with the words LOVIA and 2014 on the reverse. Personnel involved in the war or working with Brunanters (Lovian police) are eligible for the medal.
	Phaluhm Medal	2017	The Phaluhm Medal was created in 2017 for personnel having served in Operation Martel, as part of Multinational Force Phaluhm Phoueck's operations in Phaluhm Phoueck. Brunanter soldiers and foreign military personnel working closely with Brunanters (particularly from Pintona) are eligible for the medal.

	Medal for Operations	1881-1913	It recognizes military service for operations with the Royal Guard and Navy between 1881 and 1913 that were not wars.
	Queen's Special Service Medal	1970-present	It recognizes military service that would not otherwise be recognized by a campaign medal, in particular service in Berrio or in official capacity with SEDEF, denoted by a clasp.
	King Johan II Golden Jubilee Medal	1963	It was awarded to Brunant's royals, military personnel, government employees with more than 20 years service on 23 October 1963, or to outstanding citizenship during the king's reign.
	King Marten II Silver Jubilee Medal	1992	It was awarded to military personnel, government employees with more than 20 years service on 15 November 1992, close members of the monarch's family and outstanding citizenship during the king's reign.
	400 Years of the Navy Medal	2013	It was awarded to Brunanter naval personnel with over 15 months service completed by 31 December 2013 to commemorate the creation of the navy in 1613.
	500 Years of the Royal Guard Medal	2017	It will be awarded to Brunanter Guardmen and women with over 15 months service completed by 31 December 2017 to commemorate 500 years of the first military units of the Royal Guard.
	Medal for Arts and Letters	1955-present	The Medal for Arts and Letters is a decoration awarded for "Significant contribution to the enrichment of the Brunanter cultural inheritance". It was firstly posthumously awarded in 1955 to Eugeni Tozins.
