The Dortmund Vitesse was a Brunanter two-seat sports car produced by Dortmund Motor Company from 1951 to 1954. The Vitesse was the company's glamour image and most exclusive model. It was also the priciest, costing the equivalent of $4,000 USD in 1954.

The car was simply marketed as the "Vitesse" to distance it from the more economic Dortmund vehicles and competed more with Zedlitz sport cars. The car was designed and had its coachwork built by the coachbuilder Nicollet of Grijzestad. Underneath, the chassis was modified from that of the Dortmund Type 55.

The Vitesse was powered by a 114hp, Chrysler 3.3L six-cylinder engine, making it the fastest model of the range at the time (a 1952 model was tested to reach 118mph).

With a price of nearly 12,000 thalers when the last models were produced in 1954, production and sales of the car were very small. In total 996 models were produced in four years, with only 63 cars made in 1951. Three models were converted into convertibles by Ghia in 1953 and 1954. Today Vitesses are very rare and expensive, with those in good condition easily worth €50,000.
