However, he joined Serie A side ACF Fiorentina but only played three games in the Serie A, joining Modena F.C. on loan for half a season.
He was sold to Stade Brestois 29 in France, reaching a second place in the Ligue 2 for the 2009-10 season. Rosso moved to Helmond Real Sport Club after having completed a training camp.
