Helmond Raiders is a football club based in Nieuw Helmond, Brunant. It is one of the two teams from Nieuw Helmond that plays in the First League, the other being Mediterranean FC. It is a member of the AFC. It was founded in 1951. Helmond have a heated rivalry with local rivals Mediterranean, the Helmond derby.
In 2013 Helmond acquired Veloz Megastores as primary club sponsor for the 2013-14 First League, replacing Parmalat from the previous season.
