House of Representatives

The House of Representatives is one of the two houses of the bicameral Congress of Brunant. It is the lower house, with the Senate being the upper house.

The house is formally headed by a president.

House Chamber[]

The House Chamber is a room, which gives the impression of being round by the floor. Its floor is made of fine hand painted and decorated tiles from the 1770s, made in a fancy style which is no longer done. Due to the value of the floor, the chamber has often been emptied out to allow the restoration of the floor. Presently, it is partly-emptied and undergoing further restoration. At one end of the chamber is the speaker's bench. In the middle one would find the semicircular-shaped mid-19th century table where the representatives sit around.
