Lihueno (born 4th December 1987, Espargos, Cape Verde) is a Cape Verdian footballer who currently plays for Sociedad Real Deportiva de Lamedina in Traspes, as a defender. From 2007 to 2011 he played for Grijzestad University S.C. in Brunant.
Lihueno began his footballing career as local club Académico do Aeroporto in 2006. In the summer of 2007, he was signed by Grijzestad University S.C. and given a special sports scholarship at the Grijzestad University (organized by GUSC's chairman/owner Dominic Santos). Lihueno didn't receive many chances to play during the 2007-08 Second League, and was loaned back to his previous club in the second half of the season. During the 2008-09 Second League, Lihueno was in the main squad and scored five goals. For the first half of the 2009-10 Second League, Lihueno was loaned out to Clube Oriental de Lisboa in Portugal. After good performances, he was recalled for the second half of the season and scored three goals, as Grijzestad University S.C. won the Second League. In the 2010-11 First League, in which GUSC performed poorly, Lihueno wasn't given many playing opportunities again, and at the end of that season he was sold to Sociedad Real Deportiva de Lamedina in Traspes. Since mid-2012, he has been the squad captain of that club.
Since 2008, Lihueno has been called up several times to the Cape Verde national football team.
