Biography[]

Brights was born to a Swiss father and a Brunanter mother in Grijzestad. He began DJing at the age of 16 and performed at local nightclubs by the age of 20. In 2008, he released his first album, Speakeasy, composed mainly of house and electro swing tunes; this was his first album with Jangle Records. While gaining mixed reviews, it got a respectable 2,300 album sales. His next album, Upbeat and Happy, was a commercial success, and his third, The Time Box, was a critic's top choice upon its release in 2012. Brights' music featured in the 2012 Jitana Electrica album A Fezta in several of the songs.

In the summer of 2018, all his EPs were released on vinyl, Speakeasy, Upbeat and Happy and Everybody for the first time, and The Time Box was reissued.

He topped Tune's "Top 50 DJs" in 2012 and 2013.
