Michael James Maybury (12 February 1928 in Koningstad - 5 April 2009 in Carrington) was a Brunanter film director and producer. One of the most influential and widely respected filmmakers of Brunanter cinema, Maybury is known for his films Mistaken Lines (1977), The Crimson Blouse (1980), The Good Man (1984) and Children Lost in Time (1990). The latter three of them won the Barker Award for Best Film at the Rosetown Film Festival and earned Maybury the Barker Award for Best Director. Maybury was also noted for being a perfectionist, using painstaking care with scene staging and working closely with his actors.
