Newell Prison is a high-security prison located near Newell, Brunant at the foot of the Newell Peak. The prison has a capacity of around 150 prisoners, but currently only has around 80.
History[]
Newell Prison was built in 1977 in response to an increase in arrests with the need for greater security for many dangerous inmates, in particular Barzona Libre members and other key prisoners. The infamous BL leader Sebastian Encines was a prisoner here after his capture.
