He undertook his first state visit in early 2015 with his parents and sister to Strasland, for the baptism of distant relative (and her parents' godchild) Emma Augusta Holme. He visited the Koningstadion and FC Kings players in July 2015 with his family and received an FC Kings shirt with his sister. Prince Cristian was a ring bearer at the wedding of his cousin, Princess Stephanie, in Kemburg in November 2016.
