Secret Lakes is a locality in Sint-Anders Parish, located in the northwestern corner of the parish (near the border with Chester Parish), on the western edge of the Chester Valley (separated from the sea by a series of hills). The locality is mostly English-speaking, and has 72 inhabitants.
The locality, lying in the Chester Valley, is best known for its winemaking industry, the terrain being known for giving the local wine a unique, deeper flavour. Secret Lakes has its own Designation of Origin, the Secret Lakes DO. The two main vineyards in the vicinity of the settlement are the Blue Caves Vineyard (belonging to Castelnau Wines) and the Secret Lakes Estate, which produce roughly 2000 and 1500 cases annually, respectively. Both of these vineyards produce Moscatel and Listan.
Another industry in the settlement is tourism, regarding the eponymous Secret Lakes, which are popular for swimming, sailing and fishing. Roads and walking tracks lead from the locality to both lakes.
