Tegeninformatie (Counter-information) is a Dutch-language news/political satire show on BBN 4. Tegeninformatie is a highly popular show in its 30 years of existance.

Overview[]

Tegeninformatie was first created in 1981, using puppets to parody politicians, celebrities and other figures. The original show was broadcast until 1995, when BBN decided to kill it.

In 2003 a new edition of Tegeninformatie was made, but in a different format. This show uses real people in a news studio and reporters that go out and interview politicians and people. The show tends to take a leftist stance, but frequently mocks and criticizes both leftists and rightists. Politicians such as Gert Henneman, Sofia Andersen, Jan Andersen and others have frequently been mocked and interviewed, not knowing the reporters were comedians.

Cast/reporters[]

Max Brams plays the veteran news anchor in the studio, with Marissa Kuster playing his young and attractive co-worker. Field reporters include John Amos, Johan Sanna and Aleide Ackermans.
