Terry Jamieson (born on August 15, 1983) is a Brunanter footballer who currently plays for AFC club Charlestown FC. He usually plays as a left sided midfielder but can also play as a central midfielder or a left-back.

Early life Edit

Born in Cape Cross, Jamieson attended the Andrew Kirkley College, which he left in 2000 to concentrate on his footballing career.

Career Edit

Jamieson began his career at Standard FC in 2000, signing professional terms in 2001. However, he rarely broke into the first team.

In the summer of 2005 he was released by Standard and was soon signed for free by Sint-Anders Furie. He scored his first goal for the club in February 2006, when Sint-Anders lost 2-1 against Helmond RSC. In the 2006-2007 season Jamieson won the club's Player of the Year award. But during the 2007–2008 season, Jamieson did not play as many games as he first hoped with a back injury that was aggravated during a 1–1 draw against Boguestown FC.

In August 2008 Jamieson signed for the new-found Charlestown FC on a one month loan. He joined Charlestown permanently in September 2008 and scored his first goal for Charlestown in the 3–0 win over FC Willemstad in November 2009. Jamieson was named club captain for the 2011-2012 season, during which he scored 12 goals, two coming from free-kicks in crucial wins, earning him the Player of the Year title. He played prominently in the left midfield position.

National teamEdit

In March 2012 Jamieson was called up to the Brunant national football team, for a friendly against Slovenia. He was included in the players participating in WFC 2012 and he served as a substitute in the game versus Bhutan. Jamieson featured in friendlies in 2012 and 2013 and was involved in qualifying for WFC 2014 but was not called up for the final squad of 18. He announced his retirement from international football in June 2014.

Personal lifeEdit

Since 2009 Jamieson has been together with Martha Boston, the youngest daughter of Charles Town Mayor Michael Boston.
